The HCMC Food Safety Department has recently announced the results of an unannounced inspection targeting convention centers and wedding restaurants across the city. This large-scale operation aimed to ensure catering service standards during the peak event season of early 2026.
Results of the city-wide inspection
According to official reports, out of 130 listed entities, the Department conducted physical inspections at 121 facilities. The remaining units had either ceased operations or undergone corporate restructuring. The specific findings are as follows:

Compliance Rate: 120 out of 121 facilities followed regulations (reaching 99.17%).

Violation Noted: 01 case was found providing catering services while its Food Safety Eligibility Certificate had expired.

Overall, large-scale convention centers in the city demonstrated a high sense of responsibility in maintaining hygiene standards. Positive highlights included:
