On the morning of February 6, 2026, the Ministry of Public Security officially announced the establishment of the Cardiovascular Institute under 19-8 Hospital. The Cardiovascular Institute was developed by comprehensively upgrading the existing Cardiology Department, integrated with leading experts and lecturers from the Department of Cardiology at Hanoi Medical University. A highly respected expert, he currently serves as the President of the ASEAN Federation of Cardiology and Head of the Cardiology Department at Hanoi Medical University.
