On the morning of January 22, 2026, a significant administrative ceremony was held in Nghe An province to announce new leadership personnel for the National Institute of Forensic Psychiatry under the Ministry of Health.
New executive and dual responsibilities Dr. Nguyen Canh Hung, a Senior Specialist (Grade II) in Psychiatry, has been officially appointed as the Deputy Director of the National Institute of Forensic Psychiatry. In addition to this role, he will concurrently serve as the Head of the North Central Branch of Forensic Psychiatry. Prior to this promotion, Dr. Hung served as a forensic psychiatric examiner and Deputy Director of the Nghe An Psychiatric Hospital. His term of office is set for five years.
