On January 27, 2026, a medical facility in Southern Vietnam officially launched the GE SIGNA™ Prime 1.5T magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system. This deployment is a strategic move to promote precision medicine and personalized treatment protocols for patients.
Technically, this next-generation system utilizes artificial intelligence to produce high-definition imagery while significantly reducing scanning duration. The equipment is designed for patient comfort, featuring noise-reduction technology and flexible signal-receiving coils to minimize anxiety during the procedure. Medical professionals can leverage these enhanced diagnostics to detect early signs of neurological, cardiovascular, and musculoskeletal conditions, as well as perform effective cancer screenings.
This upgrade is part of the institution’s development roadmap after seven years of operation. In addition to advanced imaging, the facility has integrated various surgical support technologies, such as the StealthStation navigation system, the O-arm for spinal procedures, and ultrasonic surgical tools. By combining high-tech infrastructure and digital management with a team of experts from top-tier hospitals, the facility aims to optimize the quality of healthcare services.
