Revocation of registration numbers for four cosmetic products

The Drug Administration of Vietnam has officially issued a decision to terminate the validity of registration numbers for a specific list of cosmetic products. This action follows a voluntary request submitted by the entity responsible for placing these products on the market.

details of affected products According to the published list, four cosmetic items—primarily facial masks, eye creams, and sunscreens manufactured in South Korea—have had their notification receipts revoked. These products include:

  • Two mask lines under the DR4U and DR4 GLUTATHIONE brands.
  • VERPIA COLLAGEN eye cream.
  • ALGEO Gluthatione Tone-up Sun Cream.

origin and legal grounds The registering entity is Thuy Son Investment and Service Trading Co., Ltd., based in Hanoi. The company proactively submitted a formal request for the voluntary withdrawal of previously granted product notifications.

Out of the six dossiers submitted by the enterprise, the regulatory body issued revocation decisions for four active registration numbers. The remaining two were excluded from the decision as their validity had already expired under current regulations.

implementation of the decision This decision takes immediate effect. The involved company and the Departments of Health in provinces and cities nationwide are responsible for monitoring and conducting post-market inspections to ensure that product distribution aligns with the new legal status.
