The Drug Administration of Vietnam has officially invalidated the notification receipts for six cosmetic products imported from South Korea. These items were brought to the domestic market under the responsibility of Trinh My Co., Ltd, based in Ho Chi Minh City.
The affected lineup includes six specific products from the Dermapeel and Derma+ brands, manufactured by Chosung Corporation Co., Ltd and Rainbow Beauty Cosmetics Co., Ltd. According to the regulatory body, the withdrawal was prompted by inconsistencies between the actual chemical formulations and the previously submitted registration documents. Furthermore, the company failed to maintain a comprehensive Product Information File (PIF) as mandated by law.
In addition to the recall, the Drug Administration has imposed a 6-month suspension on accepting any new product notifications from Trinh My Co., Ltd. The firm may only regain its registration privileges after fully addressing the non-compliance issues and submitting a detailed rectification report for official review.
