On December 20, 2025, the Thanh Hoa Department of Health and Servier Vietnam officially established a strategic cooperation framework by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The centerpiece of this agreement is the launch of the “Control Rate – As One” project, a healthcare initiative aimed at streamlining management processes and increasing the success rate of treatment for common chronic diseases.

Implementation Scope: Thanh Hoa, alongside Ninh Binh, serves as one of the first two provinces in Vietnam to pilot this model. The project is scheduled to become fully operational at the beginning of 2026.

Core Objectives: The partnership focuses on standardizing approaches and coordination among healthcare facilities from provincial to local levels. This ensures synchronized data and treatment protocols for patients suffering from hypertension and diabetes.

Multi-stakeholder Engagement: The event saw a consensus among local health department leaders and management representatives from various major medical institutions, including the Provincial General Hospital, the Endocrinology Hospital, and several regional general hospitals (Ngoc Lac, Hac Thanh, Yen Dinh, Hop Luc).
