Maternal and Child Health Department partners with Tam Anh – VNVC medical ecosystem to boost Child Protection Hotline 111

The Maternal and Child Health Department, operating under the Ministry of Health, has signed a definitive Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the integrated medical ecosystem comprising Tam Anh General Hospital, the VNVC Vaccination Center Network, ECO Pharmaceuticals, and Nutrihome Nutrition Center. The strategic alliance is engineered to strengthen communication campaigns, health education, and professional capacity building, while driving initiatives for the holistic development of Vietnamese women, mothers, and children. A foundational pillar of the agreement focuses on optimizing communication frameworks to enhance the operational efficiency and accessibility of the National Child Protection Hotline 111.

The documented core priority areas, operational paradigms, and strategic health directives include:

  • Primary Focus Modules of the Bilateral Agreement: The co-signers have committed to executing four core operational segments:

    • Coordinating community communication and educational campaigns tracking women, maternal, and pediatric healthcare.

    • Organizing specialized training programs, capacity-building workshops, and professional seminars for healthcare cadres.

    • Compiling, publishing, and distributing professional handbooks, clinical manuals, and media products dedicated to child care and protection.

    • Expanding communication avenues to maximize the performance and support reach of the National Child Protection Hotline 111.

  • Infrastructure and Support Commitments from the Partner Network: Ms. Ha Thu Nga, Vice Chairwoman of the Board at Tam Anh General Hospital, stated that the Tam Anh – VNVC – ECO – Nutrihome ecosystem has established a comprehensive healthcare delivery framework. The network is actively expanding access to vaccines, high-quality clinical treatments, and advanced nutritional counseling across remote, border, and island regions, while parallelly backing national disease prevention strategies and enhancing health literacy among women and vulnerable groups.

  • Operational Trajectory for Hotline 111: According to Ministry of Health parameters, the National Child Protection Hotline 111 functions as an institutional “red alert hotline”. Upon receiving reports or suspicions of child abuse and violence, the inter-disciplinary system immediately triggers active intervention protocols. Regulators have directed an escalation in public communications to ensure the 111 hotline is extensively popularized across local residential clusters, industrial zones, and high-risk households.

  • Executive Mandates Derived from Healthcare Leadership: In his official address, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Tri Thuc, Deputy Minister of Health, requested that the finalized commitments be rapidly translated into concrete programmatic schedules and field operations. This rapid deployment is tasked with advancing the core objectives defined under the National Strategy for Protection, Care, and Improvement of Public Health through 2030, with a vision toward 2045, ultimately fostering a healthy, safe, and fully developed generation of Vietnamese children.
